Singapore - Last Day

Singapore - Last Day
April 9, 2018

On our last day in Singapore we were only able to get breakfast and then we had to start heading to the boat. We had carrot cake at the hawker market. But instead of having it at the stall that I usually get it from,we got it from Carrot Cake 101. The place that I normally get it from was closed (boo).

We ordered half black/half white carrot cake from 101 Carrot Cake. It turns out that it was a smaller portion of everything and  it cost more a little more. It was pretty good actually (we got another small black carrot cake because I was still hungry). Then after we ate the carrot cake my dad got some Pan de Coco from a hawker bakery. Pan de Coco is a type of Filipino bread that has coconut shavings and palm sugar inside of a bread bun. We got 2 Pan de Coco's and they were awesome. Then after a nice brekky at the hawker stalls we went back to the hotel checked out of our room and headed to the cruise terminal to get on the Mariner of the Seas. After we get on the boat in Singapore we go to Phuket, Thailand; Cochin, India; Goa, India; Muscat, Oman; Dubai, UAE; Aqaba, Jordan; Ashdod, Israel; Chania, Crete; and finally, Barcelona, Catalonia. And we have lot's of sea days in between. In total we will be cruising for 28 days.

The Mariner of the seas is one of the only cruise ships that has an ice skating rink that passengers can actually use. On the 13th lfoor they have a rock climbing wall with 5 different levels of difficulty. I will miss Singapore, but I am looking forward to cruising on the Mariner of the Seas...
