Seeing a Movie Being Shot in London

We saw a movie being shot in London and it had one of my dad's favorite actors in it - John C. Riley. 


It is about Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy who were entertainers in the 1930's and 40's. We were walking down the street when all of a sudden a bunch of people in clothing from the 1930's came out. It was really cool. We stood and watched the filming for several minutes. We came back to the same street the next day and they were not there. 

We just saw on the internet today that they were filming Mary Poppins Returns by Buckingham Palace about a month before we arrived. Mary Poppins is one of my all time favorite movies. This time Mary Poppins is going to be Emily Blunt. Jane and Michael are going to be all grown up and have families of there own. I cannot wait to see it.

I also cannot wait to see the Laurel and Hardy movie to see if I recognize the scene that we were watching.
