Florence, Italy

On April 16th, after 38 days, we had to get off the Norwegian Star and start another adventure.  We went strait to the train station with all of our luggage (I hope) and got on a train. When we got off the train we were in Florence, Italy! We had a bit of trouble finding our apartment because in Italy apparently if somebody says 18 red, it means it's a shop and if they say it's 18 black it means it's an apartment or a house and our host had to find us and show us where it was.

After all that we went to the covered market which we went to last year.

We had Burrata and Strachatella which are both kinds of mozzarella that are very yummy!

We also had fried rice ball thingies with ham and they are also very yummy.

My dad had tripe (cows stomach) and it was not my favorite.

Then we went into an Eataly store and my mom found a bell of Easter. I didn't understand why that made her so happy, but then my Mom and Dad explained that it was part of a comedy routine that they both loved..

Then we went to our favorite gelato place, Antica and I had strawberry and yogurt (they were out of banana) and my mom had chocolate and strawberry and my dad had mango. They were all very good.

After eating yummy gelato we had dinner at a place a couple doors down from our apartment and I had some really good pizza there.

I know it seems like all we did was eat, but we also walked around and saw the duomo and went to our favorite piazza with all the statues. We tried to put money in the pigs mouth, but the line was too long..
