You don't have to be rich to be able to travel.

We are not rich. But we do love to travel.  So we have found some cheaper ways to travels. Like we use google flights or Airbnb . You can stay at an airbnb for a month and it is much cheaper than staying a couple nights at a hotel. Another thing that helps is having you parents get some time off from work. Like a month so that you can travel. With all these tips it is still very expensive to travel. 

Did you know that if you stay in a hotel that is $400 per night ,for 3 nights it is the equivalent of staying in Italy for a month in an Airbnb (of course minus the airfare and the food). But that just tells you that if you can find the right place for yourself in an Airbnb you can stay there for a really long time. Or you could decide that you want to stay at a very nice hotel like the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. We did stay at the Grand Hotel for 2 nights last year, But we found a really good deal in October just before they closed for the season. The pool at the Hotel was huge! It had this big snake in it and it was very hard to get on it. What the Grand Hotel is known for is having a very large porch (more than a 100 feet) and for its luxury.
