Rome

In Rome we love the Mozzarella and the tomatoes and basil.  We went back to our favorite restaurant, Obica, which has the best.






We also have some friends in Rome that were our Airbnb hosts last year. They have a daughter Isabella (9). We went back to our favorite restaurant in Rome (they have the best cabonara and zucchini flowers). That is where we met Isabella and her family. Isabella loves clams so she got clams and pasta and they brought it out on this huge platter. But my carbonara was 3 inch's tall.

Isabella and I had fun playing with Snapchat on my phone.

After a lovely dinner with Maya, Giovanni, and Isabella we had to say goodbye.





We were only in Rome for 4 days so we wanted to make the most of it . So we went to the Trevi Fountain and threw 3 coins in a fountain.





On our way to the fountain we saw an Magnum ice cream store where you could design your own Magnum bar, I put rose petals, marshmallows, and gold crisps on mine,

As I am sure you all know, one of my favorite things to do is SHOP!!! We found this really cute purse in a shop near the fountain. (The funny thing is when we went to London we went into a Radley shop and I saw the real purse that this was designed to look like.)

 We also went shopping at the market for truffle spread. It was delicious. We brought some home so I am still enjoying a taste of Italy!





We watched one of my favorite movies, Roman Holiday. It has Audrey Hepburn in it. Did you know there is an Audrey Hepburn store in Rome?

The Airbnb that we stayed in this year was right on the main street in Trastavere. Just below our apartment there was a pizza place with lots of different pizzas. My favorite was mushrooms and onion.

It was also close to a yummy gelato store

We could also walk to the Santa Maria Piazza and we saw the same performers that we saw last year.

I can't wait to go back to Rome.
